Ranthambore, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Jim Corbett, Pench, Tadoba, Satpura are some of them which not only offer good tiger densities but a lot of other activities for the visitors.

Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore National Park is observed as one of the best National Parks in the world and largest in North India considering its Tiger density. Securing an esteemed position on the itineraries of wildlife admirers from across the globe, the Park was once the favorite hunting reserve of the Royals of Rajasthan.

Although Ranthambore is known as the best spot to view the majestic Indian tiger, the reserve is home to other wildlife species including sambar deer, wild boars, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, leopard, marsh crocodile, etc.

Popular as the Tiger Destination, the town of Sawai Madhopur is the ‘Gateway to Ranthambore’ national park with a flourishing biodiversity set among ancient fort’s temple, palaces, and aesthetically-crumbling cenotaphs. For the wildlife enthusiasts around the world now may be a better time than ever to visit Ranthambore National Park due to the recent increase in tiger numbers.

A good time to visit would be between April- June in summers and November – February in winters.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Once home to the white tigers in India, the forests of Bandhavgarh have one of the largest tiger densities in India which is why it is one of the best places for spotting a Tiger. But besides Tigers one can also find gaur, sloth bear, leopard, porcupine, wild boar, spotted deer and golden jackal, etc. amongst the other wildlife species found in this incredible biodiversity.

Located in the eastern Satpura range of Umaria and Katni district, Bandhavgarh derives its name from Bandhav= Brother, Garh = Fort & it is believed that Lord Rama and Lakshman stayed in this fort to keep an eye on Lanka. Reaching Bandhavgarh is not that difficult, catch a flight from Delhi to Jabalpur followed by a 4hours drive to the park. A journey through the picturesque natural beauty of the park will leave you mesmerized and take back home sweet memories.

The park is divided into three major zones namely Magadhi, Khitauli and Tala, Tala offers the brightest chances to sight Royal Bengal Tiger.

Kanha National Park

Among the greatest national park in Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park flourishes with an area of 2059.7 sq kms. Bestowed with natural abundance of Sal woodlands, Kanha is just the perfect place to sight a tiger in India.

The well-known novelist, Rudyard Kipling conceived the idea of the famous ‘Jungle Book’ too at Kanha National Park.

Besides the big cat Kanha is also the home to the endangered species of Barasingha which is only found in the Kanha National Park in India. A safari through the park here is an exciting experience and will surely take you down the memory lane of your childhood. Visit from October to February for an idea safari trip.


Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett has the prestige of being one of the largest and oldest National Parks’s of India. Located in Nainital district Corbett got established in 1936 and was declared as a Tiger reserve in 1973. Corbett promises an out of the world wildlife safari experience to the nature enthusiasts and wildlife aficionados who would love to wander through its magical landscapes. Renowned for its Royal Bengal Tiger reserve, Corbett is also home to a good population of bird species and elephants. Keeping the tourist convenience in mind the park has been divided into tourist zones and the major draw is received in Dhikala Zone and Bijrani Zone. These zones primarily attract tourists every year for their tiger richness and serene ambiance.
