by Nimisha Tewari 01 Dec 2023

Corbett National Park, situated in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, is a diverse and ecologically rich area that experiences distinct seasons throughout the year. Each season brings its own charm and uniqueness to the park. Here's a glimpse of how Corbett National Park looks in different seasons:

  1. Winter (November to February):

    • The winter season in Corbett is generally cool and crisp. The temperature can drop significantly, especially during the night. The vegetation is relatively sparse, making it easier to spot wildlife as they gather around water bodies. Birdwatching is also popular during this time, as migratory birds visit the park.
  2. Spring (March to April):

    • Spring marks the transition from winter to summer. The weather becomes milder and the park starts to bloom with various flowers and blossoms. This is a great time for nature enthusiasts, as the landscape becomes vibrant with colors. Wildlife is active, and the chances of tiger sightings are relatively high.
         3.  Summer (May to June):
    • The summer season in Corbett can be hot, and temperatures can soar. Vegetation is lush and the park is in full bloom. While the heat can make daytime safaris challenging, early morning and late afternoon safaris are recommended. Animals are often spotted near water sources during this time.

    4. Monsoon (July to September):

    • The monsoon season brings heavy rainfall to the region. The park remains open, but safaris might be affected due to muddy and slippery tracks. The lush greenery during this time is breathtaking, and the park transforms into a picturesque landscape. However, wildlife sightings can be challenging due to the dense vegetation. 5.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
