Corbett National Park, located in the state of Uttarakhand, is renowned for its thriving tiger population but it's also a haven for diverse flora and fauna. Beyond tigers, here's what you can explore in the rich biodiversity of Corbett National Park:

1. Bengal Tigers: Corbett is famous for its Bengal tiger population, and it offers a great chance to spot these magnificent big cats in their natural habitat. Jeep safaris is a popular way to observe them.

4. Indian Rhinoceros: The park has successfully reintroduced Indian rhinoceros, and sightings are becoming more common. Their presence adds to the park's unique biodiversity.

5. Sloth Bears: Sloth bears are another highlight of Corbett. They are often seen foraging for food in the park's forests.

6. Deer Species: Various deer species, including spotted deer (chital), sambar deer and hog deer are common in Corbett. They are prey animals for big cats and attract predators.

7. Birdwatching: Corbett is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 600 bird species. You can spot a variety of raptors, waterbirds and forest-dwelling species. The park is especially famous for its resident and migratory species.

8. Crocodiles: The Ramganga River that flows through the park is home to marsh crocodiles and gharials. Boat safaris are an excellent way to see them.

9. Reptiles: Corbett is home to various reptile species, including pythons, king cobras and monitor lizards.

10. Flora: The park's landscape includes riverine belts, grasslands and dense forests. You can explore a variety of plant species, including Sal, Shisham and various types of grasses.

11. Dhikala Forest Lodge: Staying at the Dhikala Forest Lodge within the park is a unique experience. It offers a chance to be immersed in the forest and witness wildlife right from your accommodation.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
